Winter Session Schedule Announced–Register Now!

Rain City’s winter season will include offerings for all age groups, from splashball to high school. The older groups will get back in the pool at the end of November, while the youngest groups will have a short season beginning in mid-January.

  • High school girls will practice Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at Mercer Island Country Club (MICC) under the leadership of Rain City’s most senior coach, Thor Tyson. New players and returning players are equally encouraged to sign up, whether interested in only one season or ready to commit to our Junior Olympics Travel Team.
  • High school boys winter academy, with coaches Thomas and Matt, will meet Wednesdays at MICC and Sundays at Medgar Evers Pool. This schedule will allow the players to begin to prepare for the competitive spring/summer polo season while many will also be swimming with their high school teams.
  • 13-14 year old girls and boys will have three practices per week at MICC, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. These practices are also open to strong, experienced 11 and 12 year olds with coach permission.
  • Rain City’s House League for 9-12 year olds and splashball for 5-9 year olds will return in January for a short winter season, Sunday evenings at Helene Madison Pool.

All players 11 and up will have opportunities to compete this winter, from one-day youth scrimmages to weekend travel tournaments for all age groups.
